This fell off my bodyguard 2.0

Ejector. My guess is the pin backed out since the piece appears intact. Did you search for the pin in the area you field stripped it? That part needs to be fully pressed down during disassembly to remove the slide, (alternatively, pulling the trigger works also). It MUST be fully down when...

    Bodyguard 2.0 sight change....

The role of the BG 2.0 is a defensive pistol. Not a target or range toy. God forbid I have to draw it to save my bacon, I doubt I will be concerned with obtaining a sight picture that will achieve equal amounts of light on both sides of the front sight. With the wide notch rear, bringing that...

    Bodyguard 2.0 pocket holster

I bought one and really like the fit, but the holster comes out of the pocket of my cargo shorts (top/side pocket) with the gun. Pressure against the leg as recommended by Sticky Holsters doesn't work with my bird legs. The only thing that helps is using my middle finger at the top of the grip...

    Bodyguard 2.0 problems?

I am on 465 rounds. 400 mixed FMJ (Magtech, Fiocchi, Sellier Bellot, and Blazer Brass) 65 SD (Hornady XTP, Federal Punch). I cleaned and lubed the gun before first use and zero failures to fully go into battery or eject while shooting. I did experience what seemed like a failure to reset the...

    Bodyguard 2.0 pocket holster

Tried a new Uncle Mike's #3. The gun fits well and will work in the pocket, but the edge comes up too high between the trigger guard and and the grip undercut making it difficult to get a good high grip out of the holster. I found putting a thumb over the rear of the slide helps with a smoother...

BG 2.0 Review Part II - the good and the strange

Followed up my initial 100 FMJ round range session with a good , cleaning/lube.One More New BG 2.0 Review Returned to the range to put 200 FMJ (Fiocchi, SB, Magtech) and 75 JHP (Federal Punch, Hornady XTP) through the new Bodyguard 2.0. The Good: 1) Again zero FTE/FTF all ammo fed and ejected...

Speed Loader for BG 2.0 Mags ?

For those with a new Bodyguard 2.0, what speed loader are you using to get the magazines loaded to full capacity? I know some people use UpLula, but there are several models, "Universal", "Baby" for .380 but looks like single stack mags. Would appreciate name of P/N. Thanks.

    Bodyguard 2.0 .380 Safety

I handled both at a LGS. I could barely operate the thumb safety it was so stiff. The sales guy behind the counter couldn't operate it with one hand either. Typically things like that will loosen up, but that was ridiculous. I bought the non thumb safety one and am fine with it. As an aside, the...

One More New BG 2.0 Review

Picked up a new Bodyguard 2.0, $399 at LGS yesterday. Took it home, cleaned, lubed and went to an indoor range to shot 100 rounds (50 Fiocchi/50 Sellier & Bellot) FMJ ammo with it. My observations, YMMV: 1) Clean and lube before shooting when new. Some left over manufacturing grime and...

    BG 2.0 Primer Swipe

Picked up a BG 2.0 today and put 100 rounds (50 Fiocchi/50 SB). Function was flawless, no FTF, FTE, etc. Brass looks good but there is pretty heavy primer swipe. (This was a big deal with early Sig P365's and reports of firing pins breaking. Sig beveled the firing pin tip to solve the problem)...

    Bodyguard 2.0 Back Plate Removal

Right, except on the Bodyguard 2.0. the plate goes up in the direction of the rear sight (which blocks it) not down. Look at pics of the the back of the slide and you'll understand.

    Bodyguard 2.0 Back Plate Removal

Look at the plate on the pistol from the rear. It appears you can only get it out by pushing it upwards, but the rear sight blocks that. The C/S rep had me on hold while he talked to a tech who confirmed the rear sight needed to be removed before you could get the plate off.

    Bodyguard 2.0 Back Plate Removal

I have read that the bodyguard 2.0 back plate can not be removed to clean out the striker channel without having to remove the rear sight. I verified this with a call to S&W CS. I typically like to clean the striker channel out and inspect the striker assembly every 500 rounds on a carry pistol...

Comparable S&W frame to a Colt Python Stainless 2020 .357

The most fun, accurate S&W revolver I own. 686 w/6" barrel. I've handled a few Pythons at LGS and prefer the balance and action of the 686. Pythons do have a very nice S/S finish.

    629 Yoke to Frame Gap

I watched the yoke for any movement or change in gap when cycling the trigger in double action. There was none. Everything turns smoothly on all chambers.

    629 Yoke to Frame Gap

629-5. Zero cylinder end play, no play in the yoke and timing/carry up are perfect. Gun shoots great. Would this yoke to frame fit (bottom right gap facing the cylinder front) bother you? None of my other stainless N and L frames have that large of a gap. Is it my OCD or does that gap look...
