    Inherited a 66-1

I will admit the term My Old Man, I have heard the most from young women referring to their Sugar Daddy, or much older husband. But if that is what your father wanted to be called, So Be It. And you’re right, we have digressed enough. DB

Pro Secret: I Hate Carrying a Gun! — GMP #250

I haven’t any law enforcement experience, but have CC’d for about the last 30+ years…since permits were available in KY, and now in LA. I started carrying a Glock 23, while backpacking in the Red River Gorge, when black bears started becoming prevalent. Took a chance on its little brother, and...

The gun you wish you could carry but,...

But today, and for the last three decades my two Glock 40’s, model 23 and 27, handle all my CC, EDC, and HD situations. Only things non stock are the light gathering night sights…

Anyone Recall Reports of a Stolen .38-44 Outdoorsman?

Decuerno, Are you one of TX’s californications? And conservatives do not like any kind of government control. Neither federal, state, local, gun, etc. just wondering/saying.

Anyone Recall Reports of a Stolen .38-44 Outdoorsman?

Sir, Your defense of almost president Al Gore, his statement and the referenced wiki data makes Kamala’s word salad almost sensible. And if you believe everything printed on the internet, then I have a few bridges to sale you…holly molly. No wonder we almost disappeared as a nation!

If only five, what would they be

Then a 22 LR in either double or single action. Maybe a kit gun or K22, of which I have neither. Or even a full size single action, sorry. DB

If only five, what would they be

Then I would definitely want a pair of 357’s. Possibly single and double action, or just large and compact. Definitely one of my snub S&W’s 19 or 66. And then either my 5” model 27 Or my rare short barreled Colt New Frontier in 357 and rams horn.

If only five, what would they be

Two of my five would be a big bore combination, double and single action, 45 Colt or 44 mag/spc. Since my favorites are 45 colts then I would go with this pair of mine: Both shooters…625 MG and Colt SAA nickel and ivory.

In light of so many 9mm threads - list your 9mm pistols here!

Not the biggest fan of 9mm…prefer the mid and big bores. But I do have two, a 2nd Gen Glock19c and one of the US made Sig 210.

What's the most reliable vehicle you've owned?

Granted my 2011 Mustang GT, purchased June of 2010, only has 43,000 miles when just traded in. Other than routine maintenance, I replaced the tires once…those sticky performance tires don’t last long. May have replaced the battery once, but don’t think so. I just loved its retro look, and it...

Does anyone not own a 9mm?

Just three currently…Glock 19c and Beretta CX-4 Storm, and the Sig P-210

    Pistol Caliber Carbines

Leveraction 357’s are great fun and very versatile ranch rifles. 38 specials feel like 22’s through them, and specialty loads approach 30-30 ballistics.

    Pistol Caliber Carbines

And my favorites…Colt and Winchester all 45 LC.

Anyone go back to a heavier EDC?

Still, and been, carrying my Glock 27, for some time now. Got to packing a larger cal. when backpacking and camping in the Red River gorge area…black bears. And the 27 was a natural for summer carry to my normal CC G23. And both quite easy to hit with.

    Colt SAA twofer

My two 38-40’s are this engraved 1899, and original 1924. The 1924 is a nice shooter and has made me a fan of the caliber…you have a beautiful new Colt SAA.
