I think the M&P15 OR or (In my case ORC MA compliant) is worth a look at: It's basically the same as the sport but with no sights which IMO is better so you can add what ever sights you want. Also unlike the sport it has the foward assist and dust cover, also has more chromed parts than both...

Hey guys, as most of you know I just got my first AR-15 a few days ago, its an M&P15 ORC. I am making a parts list of things I want to add and one of the things I want is a bi-pod fore grip. So I was wondering if you guys could recommend me a good one and maybe show me what you got. TIA :)

I just got an M&P15 ORC on Tuesday, I currently have the Promag rear and Magpul front flip up sights on. But I have been told that the Mbus mounted on the gas block will melt. So now I am ordering some Diamondhead aluminum intergrated sights. Then later on a good quality red dot sight.

Thanks for the heads up, I will keep an eye on that. The sights are temporary for now I will be getting some ugraded ones later on, along with a quad rail and a bi-pod four grip.

My 686 plus 4" is round butt

I agree about the 4".. And nice grips, are those made by hogue? They have the same shape as the hogue rubber grips I just ordered.
