    Tipping!

Yes it can take me three hours to prepare my own dinner, but then I tip myself 6$, enough for a discount market bottle of good Spanish Red.

    BG 2.0 shoots left

Many right handers shoot to the left. It is how the t finger is hinged. It happens too fast to see while dry firing, but it does happen. Drifting the r sight 1 mm on my Shield 45 fixed it, but still proper grip training must be on going.

What to do about car dealer ? (*** see Post 27 *** )

I understood that in the early days, post WW11, of motor cycle clubs, the actives prided them selves of self sufficiency in maintenance and repair. I believe the same should prevail now. There is no class hierarchy excuse from personal responsibility.

    45 Colt Problem

If I could wish for I want a smokeless powder suitable for the extra large case of a 45 Colt. Years ago I tried Trail Boss. It worked but at 1/2 pound for the same price of a full pound of any other I considered it non available. I also consider 50$ per pound of anything else non available.

Is Sellier and Bellot Good ?

Possibly not relevant now, but 25 years ago I fired just a few 12 ga bird shot loads in my Winchester m 50 short stroke semi auto, neglected to clean right away, and while showing to a friend 2 weeks later discovered, to both our surprise, rust in the sliding chamber. Not much but enough to not...

TGI Fridays files for Chapter 11

I never go to feed bags where the waiters (no I don't care what his/her name is) are arrogant, intitled, and po'd until they get a tip larger than their education loan for a volleyball degree.

New Shoes for my 65-3 (includes gratuitous pic of twin brother)

I've never had to remove a frame pin to instal or replace those type grips. They just slide in/out to the pre aligned screw hole at the base of the wiggly thing.

A little disappointed in PC triggers that don’t deliver.

Possibly S&W should offer a "kit" option. A complete box of parts to be assembled by the gunsmith of our choice.

Used blackhawk 44 mags not worth much anymore?

I've had a few Blackhawks, both Super and not. The best shooter was a .41 Mag 6.5" New Model with Art Jewell Eagle Claw grips; Loved it. Why do we let things go? Also I had a "Made in the 200th Year of American Liberty .357 6.5"; Loved that also. And I had a stainless Super Blackhawk 7.5"...

    Difficult extraction

My 18-3 gave me extract problems. I inspected with a Lyman bore cam to see tiny burrs from manufacture. I twisted a brush with patch & valve lapping compound half way into the chambers. Do not go deeper than the length of a fired cartridge case. The hole narrows for the bullet alignment and...
