    Terrier purpose vs .38 special

I got started with the caliber because dad left me an Enfield Mark 2*. I have a top break or two, a 32-1, a BSR, and a regulation police . I saved every casing I ever bought and probably have 800 rounds of new and reloads. I like shooting guns in that caliber. Robert

    Deal or Steal?

I stopped buying guns in that condition, unless they are a rare or hard to find item. Even then i usually pass. Yes the grips are worth half the price, then you have put something else on them to have a $200 gun again...if you want one for your tackle box, maybe... Robert

The latest auction pitfall, disruptive bidders

I thought the protocol for auction houses was that if a winning bidder defaulted, the losing bidder had the option to accept. not be forced to . Any bids by the defaulting bidder should be nullified. Really the auction should run the item again.

I ma thinking about using them on future shipment. The last time I shipped on with my regular guy he told me he doesn't like doing them and I am the only one he does them for. Then I saw how much the shipping ended up and I realized he didn't make any $ on it. He charged me $60 and the shipping...

    Identifying this 'modified' 38 S&W

Butchered Victory model. Many of those were sold dirt cheap after the war and were modified heavily. That one has been shortened and nickeled after being heavily buffed. $150 gun to most collectors.

    03 FFL Question

Truthfully, this would be my primary reason for having it. I travel a good bit, I always stop in gun shops, and I split time now between here and Pittsburgh, so if I find something up there I presently have to have it shipped here. I filled out the application and am mailing it tomorrow...
