Buy a good used one!

When I retired 14 years ago, all NCIC entries had to be revalidated once a year. Perhaps it has changed since then.

Do you or your son know the serial number of the gun, or have any other way to prove it is yours? Police often recover stolen guns or other property, but have no idea who they belong to. I hope you get it back.

I strongly support our 2nd Amendment, the NRA and the right of law abiding citizens to own as many guns as they can afford. However, I have reservations about open carry. The above situation is a prime example of stupidity, and a great example of how some one could be hurt or killed.

The new revolvers that they are making today do not have the class or appeal of these older models, and it is sad. I bought three of the newer revolvers, and got rid of them. However, I'm always looking for the older guns that are in good condition, and their values continue to increase.

I agree with Sheriff Wilson's letter. I've never seen the new Cobra, but with the thousands of people in America with CWP's, plus law enforcement officer's who carry concealed weapons, I'd think they would have made a lighter weight gun that would be much easier to carry and conceal. My 642 always goes with me, along with a speed loader. Since I'm retired I feel comfortable with it. However, if I lived in a high crime area I might carry a second revolver, or a larger handgun.

America is going down hill rapidly and we are getting very close to anarchy. The only hope for our country is a spiritual revival and putting God back into our lives.

I think the draft should be reinstated for all young men.
