Bodyguard 2.0 issues and some potential solutions -

"My conclusion is that the current rear sight is clearly too wide to render the sight picture easily found. In other words, Solution 2 here is that the rear sight must be exchanged." My subjective take: Consider the BG2 philosophy of use... It's likely true that pocket-mouse-guns' uses are...

Bodyguard 2.0 and 90 grain Underwood Xtreme Penetration ammo?

I carry the 68gr. Defender version from Underwood that's alleged to travel 1300fps and found that making sure the concave "fluted" portion always faces directly up when mag loading results in perfect performance. This makes it look ~similar~ to a FMJRN if imagining the flutes are filled in...

    BG 2 and sights

I suspected S&W was really thinking, so I investigated as to why the rear sight is as wide as it is. Turns out, IMO anyway... it's a good idea. Using a rest, I pinned the front sight to the inside of both the left and right of the rear U sight. Just enough to not allow any space/light through...

    BG 2 and sights

With reference to bullseye, drift sights... F-front O-opposite R-rear S-same I chose to slightly drift both the front and rear to keep both as centered on the slide as possible. Started with POI ~4" left at 10yds., now POA/POI are perfectly centered. Good luck.

    Bodyguard 2.0 problems?

    BG 2.0, getting bored!

My subjective opinion is the BG2 is put together so well that it's difficult to improve upon.

    Bodyguard 2 Fiber optic sight?

While waiting for the arrival of a new front sight from S&W due to the tritium not illuminating, I took it upon myself to experiment by installing a 2mm fiber optic. Hope the links work as it's my first time... Shared album - Travis Markert - Google Photos

Bodyguard 2.0 shooting left - LCP Max sights fit!

A photo please Can you please show, via photo, how much wider it is as I'd like to try taking the time to carefully make it fit if you're up for parting with the offending front sight. Thanks in advance.

    Dillon presses

I load .223, 7mm-08, .380acp, 9mm, .40S&W, 10mm, and .44mag on a Dillon XL650 using Winchester 748 for rifles and Winchester 231 for pistols as well as "only" CCI 550 primers (except for .44mag and 7mm-08) to keep things simple. Works out pretty well.

    Bodyguard 2.0 Sight Adjustment?

Our family owns 3 copies of the Bodyguard 2 and I had to drift the sights on each. Trying to keep both the front/rear sights as centered as possible on the slide, I used a combination of slightly drifting the front and rear just enough to achieve shooting a 1" circle out at 7yds.
