    Early 629’s

Very nice collection of 629 revolvers. I think my pick would be the four inch pinned and recessed. Thanks for sharing.

    29-2 4***

Very nice. Enjoy your day at the range with this classic. Have you visited the Ben Avery Shooting Facility north of Phoenix? I plan on a first trip there for me later this month.

    22 Target Pistol Recommendations

I've been very happy with this MKIII after a few modifications. The pistol was very accurate but the trigger had a heavy pull and cycling was not 100%. I installed a Volquartsen trigger kit, extractor, magazine release, and chamber indicator filler. It has a very nice trigger pull now and it...

    RF-4EJ “ Goodbye Woodpecker Phantoms "

The Phantom will always be one of my favorites. My uncle Dick was a crew chief on F105 'Thuds' then later F4 Phantoms. If I remember correctly he was at Takhli and did two or three deployments. After his tours during the war he was sent to Iran to help train the Shah's airmen on the F4. Here...

    Model 57 First Year Value

I paid 2500 for this April 1964 model 57. It is about 100% including presentation case. I don't see as many four inch guns compared to six inch ones, so maybe that would factor in your decision.

What Arizona gun shops are worth a visit?

    Pocket watches

My dad carried an old Waltham pocket watch for a while before he passed. My sister has that watch now. He even carried it with a fob exposed. I'm not a watch collector and don't know a lot about them, but own a couple of pocket watches. The one in the watch hutch is a Waltham. Nothing...

What Arizona gun shops are worth a visit?

Will be traveling to Arizona soon and wondered if anyone might suggest some gun shops to visit. My interests are primarily pre 1965 Smith & Wessons and Colt SAA's (All generations). I will be in all areas of the state. Shops with collector ammo and other sporting collectables are a plus...

    It's Here, K-32 Masterpiece

That is a VERY nice 32 Masterpiece. Yours makes me want one just like it. The bluing on Smiths from this era just grabs you, don't you think? Congrats on a great find.

    44 Magnums

I shared this four inch four screw 44 magnum last year because it was a birthday gun for me. It was shipped 14 days before I was born. Not too long ago I bought a 6.5 inch four screw 44 Magnum because I did not have a four screw example in that barrel length. I sent away for a Historical...

Was anyone else watching this 29-2 4”??

Agreed, a very nice late 29-2. But for the over $4000.00 price tag after fees, taxes, and shpping, I would hold out for a four or five screw 44 Magnum. Not too many months ago I bought a four screw 6.5" blue 44 with original leatherette presentation case and tools in 99.5% plus condition for...

    Gift from my brother

Nice Centennial and I like the stocks you have on it. Are they camel bone? Regarding retirement there are a lot of factors to consider not the least being financial stability, but if you feel set I highly recommend it. I retired very early and have never looked back. When deciding when to go...

    Bergara 22 Rifles

You do not mention trigger pull weight in your post but if that is a concern M*Carbo has a spring kit for the Marlin model 60. I installed one on a model 60 I used to have and it reduced the pull weight by about half. Won't do anything for the gritty feel, but it made the rifle easier to shoot.

A wonderful reunion with my first gun - got it when I was 11 & it's still fantastic!

First gun stories are great. My first was not a .22 rimfire but a Crossman 760 air rifle. With a smooth bore barrel it never was very accurate with pellets or bb's, but I was enamored with it nonetheless. It was a Christmas gift from my parents. My first real gun was a .410 single shot...

    Random Object Photographs

My little buddy is growing up fast. The photo of the little guy with the mop of hair was taken last year and here he is today one year later. He calls me bumpy and we go everywhere together😊

Got stung in my car today! OUCH!

Ouch!, glad it didn't cause you to have an accident while driving. I've been stung on occasion. The absolute worst was when I was mowing a pasture field and just tapped a dead tree. A swarm of bees came out of the tree and attacked me primarily around the head and neck. I don't recall how...
