    Went to Cabela's today to buy whatever they had available. They got a new shipment of guns on 11-3. There it was,the 15-22 with the threaded barrel with my name on it.:D They had them for the "give away" when you buy the $1650 dollar gun you get the 15-22 "free". Got my lazer and flashlight...

    I have to buy my 15-22 from Cabelas because I have a gift cert. but they only have the standard. I want one with the compensator so my question is if I buy the standard can I install the comp. or should I not worry about it and just enjoy.

    good side arm to complement the 15-22

    My vote would be for a 9mm because they are easier to shoot and the ammo is cheaper. After shooting about a thousand rounds through my Tauras PT 92 AR I am confident I could make a good shot when I need to. For fun and practice a 22 like my Buckmark is hard to beat.
