    Grip options for K-frames

Maybe not the best looking stocks, but these old Bill Davis grips are my favorite for actually shooting.

    Bullets flying sideways

If someone tried to remove me from the field because they didn't like the sound of my shells there would be a problem.

    Schwiebert Combat Grips?

All those towns are in my neck of the woods. Cambria is a short drive up the coast from Los Osos. The Hogue I know was in Atascadero until fairly recently which is also not far, just north and inland in San Luis Obispo county. I never knew that Hogue had any dealings in Cambria which is a...

    Ejection Rod Shroud

It protects the rod. If the rod gets bent, you can't easily eject cases, or the cylinder could bind. Incidents of this happening were probably not real common and it added cost and complexity to manufacture so it was an upgrade first found on better models but has made its way onto a variety of...

Now I'm doing construction work for critters?

I have been doing wild animal rescue for some years now and racoons in dumpsters is pretty common. People wont shut the lids. I keep some lattice handy for these incidents and they climb right out. Even made a longer folding version.

    Help with this OMEGA watch.

Sorry, looks like a bad fake to me. 60s/70s tourist trap grade.

    How would you fix this?

I think I may dig up a donor stock for chips, dust and slivers for this and future projects.

    Need help with new guns

Welcome, you have 2 excellent revolvers. Make sure the chambers are really clean and the ejector rod moves freely. If those are OK I would try different ammo in the 36 and save the sticky stuff for the 10.

    How would you fix this?

Its a 2-inch. Here it is with another set of unusual grips that are close in serial number.

    How would you fix this?

These grips are pretty close in serial number to a Model 15 I have and I thought I would refinish them. They have been stripped now, but this little missing chunk is still a problem. Its really small but quite noticeable. I have some sawdust and was thinking about some sort of glue/shellac...

1982 smith and Wesson 19-5 Nickel

Shorter .38 cases also are more easily ejected.

Tucked away in the corner of the case @ my LGS...

Dang thats nice. Looks like it has a wide hammer and trigger too. Love those combats but they seem a bit out of place

    Model 36 J frame hammer

The hammer itself is flat but it should have a slot where a firing pin nose is pinned on. Here is a picture from Gun Parts Corp. They show out of stock.

DESTROYED MY K38 TODAY/ update #139/ range report post #148

I just like all-lead bullets in revolvers. Blasting jacketed rounds through two holes that may or may not aligned just seems like a lot to ask in a mass produced arm.

They really wanted a model 13 3 inch...

I've wanted a 3-inch 13 since back when the FBI was still using them. That and the fact they are fine guns is where I think they get their appeal from. And they have always been a bit more that I wanted to pay but that auction is getting crazy. All the 3-inch gun prices are strong.

How did I miss these little knives

Yes, those are absolutely very nice. I had a case 62?? with a single back spring. Beautiful knife but biggest blade is still smaller than I like. Different strokes!

    32 H&R Magnum prices!

+1 on the recoil thing. All the smaller caliber options are getting more interest like the whole .380 debate. Also older folks are more likely to have enough money to fuel a demand.
