Id look on eBay for a nice vintage belt holster from a model 30-1 . They were offered with a 3-inch barrel and were police guns for some time, so there were nice belt holsters made.

Hello all: I took a chance on this holster and its too small for even a Smith J frame. Im thinking Model 30 or something else. I don't know what Colt had with a small cylinder like this back then. Does anyone know what the Lewis codes are?

This is what got me looking. 1967, a very high polish.

Looking at my 3rd edition Standard Catalog I see the notation that a .312 smooth combat trigger was standard on the 2-inch guns but most I see have the serrated trigger. Is the book correct or am I missing something?
