I agree, A 158gr LSWC over 4.0gr W231. That load is very accurate in all my 38/357 revolvers. That includes a 4" M&P pre M10.

Everything you heard about weaker designed K frames from back when do not apply to the L frame revolver of which the M586 is. The L frame was released to fix all the Magnum K frame problems. Have fun with your revolve without worries.
