    K-38 Masterpiece M14-3 1971

You are right comparing it to a picture I found online. I wonder why that would be maybe needs a new spring? Mine looks to be pushing further forward. Doesn't look like something that would be easy to replace. Seems to work fine so I'll probably let it be. Good eye spotting that detail.

    K-38 Masterpiece M14-3 1971

Yes somebody definitely bought it to shoot, but they definitely took good care of it. It was nice to buy a gun of this age that came clean and well oiled. I’ve received a few grungy ones lately. The guy I got it from only had it a few weeks so it was most likely an estate purchase.

    K-38 Masterpiece M14-3 1971

I'm not sure it seems to move and function normally. Here's a picture with the vintage S&W holster it came with. Also these Pachmayr grips that will never be used:

    28-2 Highway Patrolman 1967

Don’t have much history on it. The guy I bought it from had it for about 3 years and never shot it. Doesn’t look like it’s seen very many rounds in it’s life.

    .38/200 British Service Model K200

I've read that 0000 is soft enough to use, but had I gone that route I would have used copper or bronze. Scraping with an old penny seems to have worked pretty good. I think I'll leave it now I'd most likely make things worse working on it any further.

    .38/200 British Service Model K200

Thanks. I used the penny because I didn't have any steel wool on hand. It cleaned it up pretty good.

    .38/200 British Service Model K200

Before: After: Looks better using CLP and scraping with a penny. Not sure if I can make it any better than that.

    K-22 Masterpiece Pre-M17

What are "PC grips"? When I got it there was newer magnas on it. I put these on because I thought they were correct. From what I can tell they are K frame with a 1962 serial number but there is no K stamped on the back. EDIT: I see that means Plain Clothes with the rounded bottom. They fit good...

.38/200 British Service Model in .38S&W. Serial #780218 appears to date to mid 1941. Overall very good condition but unfortunately there was a bit of rust on the end of barrel and a bit on the top strap/cylinder (last picture before working on it). I've removed the rust but there is a bit of...
