    SPF Erma-Werke Model EM 1, .22 long rifle. This is an M1 carbine look-alike. Very early production, made in West Germany in 1966, no import marks. S/N 00267. Two original factory mags, one is brand new.

    Used to own a revolver that I called Ugly Betty. She looked much prettier after a serious makeover. I sold her and hope her new owner loves her.

    I am descended from french/canadian parents, never learned to speak french and always felt a little guilty. Language, along with music and software, has always been hard for me to understand. They must all be controlled by the same part of the brain - and obviously I am lacking in that area !

    Blood pressure...

    I have been on blood pressure meds for only one year. Stared with lisinopril which worked well, but I developed a cough that got so bad I could not stand it. This is a known side effect of this med. After being on 2 or 3 other meds, I am now on Avapro which seems to be working Ok and no side...

    K197xxx dates to 1953 K82130 is earlier, probably 1949 Remember S&W did not necessarily ship guns in numerical s/n order, so these dates are approximate.per my SCSW, but remember S&W did. Either way, sounds like you have a nice, early K-22.
