this revolver is a nickel finish 38 special square butt 4 in, barrel round front site it has diamond grips,serial no.333433.it has smith and Wesson on left side of barrel and 38 s&w special ctg on the right side it has patent dates on top of barrel but being nickel cannot really make them...

I have a model 10 no dash,blued snub nose,serial #c 4936xx.i was trying to find out year made,and was wondering if the model 10 no dash is rare to find.this is the first no dash I have actually owned or seen.i go to about all the local gun shows and have not ran across one.one last question...

will.i found out the correct grip is a wide, short with no medallion.the one you have is for the first issue and I have the second issue.thanks for the post and your time.

I am looking for a set of the wood,with colt medaiions,full checkered,square butt grips for my second issue colt cobra.i would like a real nice set since the cobra is in real nice condition.i think the detective special grips may be the same but not real sure.thanks.
