I have various sizes for guns and also knives. Some of the L’s had to be screwed into the wood quite a bit.. but just enough to snug down on the gun frame. I used a spare L to do this with a pair of pliers… the L got quite scratched and chewed up. Once I had the right depth, I took it out and...

Great idea with the wood dowels at an angle! The ends of the dowels could be covered with empty brass shell cases and “show” the caliber. Use a black ink marker to highlight the headstamp.

Sounds like a good project.. are you going to hang the wood slab horizontally or vertically? Sometimes a room has that perfect spot for a vertical hanging The suggestions for “L” screws is good and allows easy removal of the revolvers… for showing off or storage back in the safe if necessary...

I knew as soon as I posted that full length photo that it was really bad and thought it wouldn’t be noticed. I was too lazy to open the safe and take some new ones. My regular camera is fine but I’m having problems transferring to the computer. I think I used my iPad for that photo! Here’s...

I use the same “L” screws but I dip them a few times in black plastic dip so that it doesn’t scratch the gun or knife. I also use ready made black shadow boxes from Michaels, etc. I do re-work the box a bit.. replace cardboard back with 1/4” or 3/8” plywood and cover the front with black...

    Holster help… Webley auto loader

Thanks, Charlie. What do you think about the leather “wedge” inside? It’s similar to the pieces usually seen inside 1911 holsters but it’s not quite the same. We tried a standard US m1911 and it would not fit. The fellow told me that he thought it was for a Webley auto loading pistol. I...

    HK MARK 23

Just out of curiosity, what type of .45 ammo does the US Military use when shooting these HK’s?

Who knows something about (old) stereo equipment?

Can you unplug the speaker? If you can, unplug both, moving the left to the right and vice versa.. See if the problem “follows”the bad speaker. It could be the jacks have some oxidation.

    Holster help… Webley auto loader

A friend of mine showed me a holster today that I had never heard of…. Said it was a private purchase for a semi auto Webley. (Webley .455 auto loader 1913) The holster looked like a standard model 1912 cavalry holster (without US stamping) but the inside was modified with a block of leather...

    HK MARK 23

Here’s a SOCOM holster for the MK23. It’s open at the bottom to allow the suppressor to be attached while holstered and wide enough to accommodate a laser module. The pouch on the side can also hold the suppressor.

The Hardy Boys And Open Carry

Yep, I remember reading them. Luckily our local library had quite a few. I remember a line from one of them but not sure which - “…help Hudson” on the short wave radio (someone was lost in the Hudson Bay Area, I think was their dad) From there I moved on to Agatha Christie… and on to other...

Very nice! You don’t see these too often! If you happen to need a holster for one of these, let me know… it’s set up for pistol and suppressor.

    Randall #2

These things can be addictive! I have three Randall’s.. the one above from a Navy veteran and two others that came as a set (#1 & #2) with the former Army veteran’s name on them. They also came with the original shipping box addressed to him in Fayetteville from Randall. Here’s the #2 Randall...

    Randall #2

Inspired by another thread, I thought I start this one. Onomea, I’ll see your #1 and raise you a #2 😎 I got this Randall #2-7 from a retired 32 yr. veteran of the US Navy. He bought the knife just before deploying to Vietnam in 1968.
