Great idea with the wood dowels at an angle! The ends of the dowels could be covered with empty brass shell cases and “show” the caliber. Use a black ink marker to highlight the headstamp.

Can you unplug the speaker? If you can, unplug both, moving the left to the right and vice versa.. See if the problem “follows”the bad speaker. It could be the jacks have some oxidation.

Here’s a SOCOM holster for the MK23. It’s open at the bottom to allow the suppressor to be attached while holstered and wide enough to accommodate a laser module. The pouch on the side can also hold the suppressor.
