Thanks for all the info! I really like the idea of the humpbacks because they are snag proof and you can shoot single action. Another reason I am considering a steel gun is the pleasure of shooting it. I've got a ruger lcp I can carry in my slacks but for toating in my coat pocket, with jeans...

Oh and can you shoot +p in the steel versions? Or is it all depending on how they are marked? Would you consider a centennial or hammered gun over any of these?

What do you guys think? I like the idea of a steel gun better and I'm assuming that's the difference correct? What's about the right money to pay for a 649 in good condition? What do you guys prefer?
