Bah... scratch it, the more I think about it, the worse the idea sounds. Looking at it I can see how a good buildup of gunk could cause it to fire OOB. Not something I'd care to experience again.

DTH Curiosity. Back in the day I had run a few thousand rounds through a stainless 10-22 without cleaning it with no apparent ill effects. Cleaned it up once I started getting FTE's and some light strikes.

My 15-22 has approx 10k rounds through it. After 5k or so with many FTE's and quite a few failures to feed and an OOB, I sent it back. Since I got it back it has been 100% perfect. After a 425 rd range session today I decided I'm going to run the heck out of it until it fails. No cleaning...

Thanks all. I'm leaning toward the Shooters Ridge and the TMS... Going to order something in the next couple weeks I think. Will be shooting off my range bag(a re-purposed laptop bag) until then, doesn't work TOO bad. I shoot my Marlin 25n off it quite a bit.

My cheap ($10) UTG I picked up at the gunshow crapped out on me today after about 300 rounds. The spring that holds the detent on one of the legs went flying for no apparent reason... Heres what I had... I'd prefer it be quick detatch, but not a necessity. Would like to stay under $50...

Just over 3k rounds through mine left handed. I had an OOB at about 2500 rounds(older DTH serial #, 100% flawless since getting it back from S&W). Thankfully the ejector didn't blow out on me. Still, got peppered by a bit of hot gas/powder near my right ear. wear eyes/ears and a hat...be safe.

I ordered the M4 on Monday. It's waiting on my kitchen table today... holy fast shipping. will be giving it a go saturday morning. I also bought it based on lots of great reviews around the web.
