Sorry i have not been able to get pictures posted. I did take the gun to a gunsmith today with over 35 years on the job. He told me that the gun needs a new barrel and to try and get then to take it back. It appears it was over torque.

I have a question, who would you hold responsible for damaged or defective guns, the Distributor or the manufacture? I have been talking to both S&W and Talo over a 686-6 Deluxe that has issue. Maybe this is why they are parting ways.

I have a new 686-6 Talo edition 3 inch that has been sent to the factory twice now. The barrel was twisted and leaning to one side. Customer service said it was canted, but it appeared to be a defective barrel because the barrel was lined up perfectly on the top. The under lug seamed to be out...

Need help trying to find out if my New Model 686-6 3in. deluxe is recent production or old stock. Has been shipped back to S&W twice now for twisted barrel, canted not lined up properly, etc. Serial number DDF81XX. Customer service has been great. Quality workmanship not so good.
