There are some awesome pictures in this thread. Revolvers or older style looking guns need to be complimented with wood, ivory and leather holsters. As long as the grip is not rubber I will like them. Rubber is for Berettas, not western-style revolvers! ....and I own a rubber gripped 96a1...

Beatiful gun! I too shot 44 specials and transitioned to 240 grain mags for the first time as well. I can't say I lost skin on my thumb but boy did those bullets feel powerful. I wonder what the Garrett 310 mags feel like.

Can anyone comment on any experience with this ammo. I have never shot a 44 mag out of the 629, just 44 specials at the shooting range. Am I in for a big surprise or will it be fun? Thanks in advance.

Can you return everything to the gun shop and just order that particular gun/moon clips online? It's a shame when businesses mistreat their customers.
