    Ultimate trail revolvers?

I like the length of your Single Six. I have a Ruger Flat Top in .44 Magnum And a couple of old style .45 Long Colt Ruger Vaqueros that I use in Cowboy Action Shooting. I've carried them off and on. Any of those would easily handle about anything I would encounter on a trail or...

I want a good open carry holster

Thanks for the replies. I'm going to wait until I receive my gun to decide exactly what holster I'm going to get. (I bought the revolver at an auction, and haven't received it yet) I like the style holster that I posted above because I have used that one for almost 35 years. And I am used...

I have a question about grips

I bought on an auction a Model 27-2. And it has grips like the ones in this picture below: I'm left handed and I have never fired a revolver with grips like this. Does that recess for the speed loader on the left side grip affect the grip hold for a left handed person?

I now have a matching set in my wallet

I have my lifetime Indiana concealed carry permit. It's just a piece of pink paper, no fancy pictures, etc. But that's OK with me. I know what I look like.

I want a good open carry holster

OK, I think I'm wanting something like this. I think I have found what I like. Either this Brigade Leather holster... http://www.brigadegunleather.com/m-4.html or this Bianchi 5BHL style... http://www.holster-sale.com/proddetail.asp?prod=12056 I sent you an email.

I want a good open carry holster

What I would like is a holster similar to the one I have for my Model 65. But the company which made it is long out of business. It is a Bucheimer. And I'm left handed. Pictures aren't the best quality, I took them real fast, and used a flash. I didn't bother setting up good lighting for...

I want a good open carry holster

I couldn't figure out which sub-forum to put this question in, so I'll try here. I want a good lined holster for a 6" 27-2 that I just bought. And... I'm left handed which makes it a little more difficult. What are some good brands to look for? Thanks

    >41 Mag mountain gun- good deal?

I have a .44 Magnum Mountain Gun. It is one of the older ones without that lock hole in the side. I bought it new for about $575. I carry it when riding my ATV in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and when camping there. I've had better success in my gun investments than in stock.

    Bought me a 27-2

I probably paid a little too much, but this is the gun I've been wanting for quite a while. I gave $825 for it. And the box and tools comes with it. It is supposed to be about 99%, and the seller has a good reputation on Gunbroker. The SN is N3480xx. I'm glad I bought it because it is...

    I'm new here

Here is the extent of my S&W collection... One of the first Model 65 that they made. I bought it new. And I have a 629 Mountain Gun that I carry when I camp and kayak and ride ATVs in Michigan's UP. And a Model 36-1 And I just bought a Model 27-2 on Gunbroker. Probably paid too...

    I'm new here

I've been around gun forums for ages. I've got lots of guns, including several S&Ws. Just thought I'd join this forum and broaden my knowledge on Smiths, and this seems like the place to do it. So howdy all.
