Need Holster: M&P 9 FS Left Hand with WML

I think pretty much all Kydex holsters for lights lock around the light not the trigger guard because the light is larger and needs to be channeled out. I make holsters, but I have yet to do one with a light, so I could be wrong. There is a fair amount of... fluff talk and claims... around...

More evidence that training is not a MUST.

It should not be required because it would then cease to be a right, however personal responsibility is to go get training in self defense, basic first aid and defensive driving. Owning a car doesn't make you a competent driver any more than owning a gun makes you a competent shooter. We all...

More evidence that training is not a MUST.

This guy was a Marine, also associated with the Nortino street gang. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=864LC3qYgjQ It's become a problem of gang members going into the military. Of course, the bigger problem is they also come out. Those with military training will recognize his tactics that...

More evidence that training is not a MUST.

To be fair, age is against her there no matter how well she has aged. On the flip side, earlier in the year we had national news of an old lady shooting a guy through her door that was coming to attack. Luck. It goes both ways, and relying on it gives you a 50% chance...

More evidence that training is not a MUST.

Nice try? I'm fully aware of the fact that not only do most defensive handgun uses end with no shots fired, but also that they go unreported... period. Not to police and not to journalists. Why would we not want that? Personally, I don't want to have to shoot anybody. I certainly don't wish...

More evidence that training is not a MUST.

What... holding an intruder at gun point is the most common defensive use of handguns? I would like to see some data.

More evidence that training is not a MUST.

I think they should have pistols. Basically, because once it is loaded and in the nightstand they don't have to do anything until they have shot way more than the six in a revolver... Pulling the trigger is the same on any gun. Having to reload after six rounds fired is way more complicated...

    Apex says "Clean your gun"!

Yeah, that's pretty much where I would draw the line. Buying a second product from a company to make the first product work. The problem is not that you gun doesn't fit their trigger... Curious to see how this works out. Well for you hopefully. On different tangent.... "Enthusiasts" and...

    Concealed Carrying The Shield

Shoot the hell out of it then figure what you need. Money spent on ammo and training is better spent on fancy bits. A few reasons people could be better off with a laser sight, but it's a bit rare. I don't really care for night sights. I don't see the big deal.

    Apex says "Clean your gun"!

"Manufacturing Variability" sounds an awful lot like "Out of tolerance" when used to explain why a new part isn't working... Then again, APEX has a fantastic reputation so I can't see them playing that card. Forget I said anything.

    M&P9C: The California Unicorn

The noose around our necks here tightens a little more. I haven't heard much about the lawsuit against the "safe" list in a while either. We gain in one area... lose out in another.

Holster Review: The Treadstone from Overwatch Holsters

The .45 is something I have been wanting to add to my stable. Please read through my reply for 78Staff - I suspect the .45 will come before lasers. I've been struggling with a couple of things with lasers and lights... first being the cost of getting the molds and the time to figure getting...

Holster Review: The Treadstone from Overwatch Holsters

... even if you got the barrel far enough in for that to be next to the trigger, if you twist the gun to try and get that into the trigger guard... the twist will open up the holster and move it away. Just for fun, I just sat here for a few minutes with the same holster and gun and can not...

    M&P auto's

Has anyone seen that advert for the car that corrects lane drifting because the guy is distracted thinking about a phone call he has to make, then his car brakes for him so he doesn't rear end someone because he is thinking about an email he has to reply to? I don't want him driving a car.

APEX DUTY CARRY RUINED MY MP 9C HELP!

Apex Carry Trigger didn't ruin your gun, you did. Once you get the gun back to shootable, I would go right back to the beginning of the story where the trigger is the reason your groups are terrible. That's not the reason. A better trigger will just cover the reason up to a point.

    M&P Pro w/TLR1 holster - any?

It's like anything, but given it's relatively inexpensive to start, a lot do it outside of their day job but when push comes to shove, quitting a job for a business takes the right circumstances... a lot of balls and the kind of uncertainty - at least for the first few year - a lot of people...

    Awesome Holster for your Shield

A good tip for that is to use a wet cloth around the area you are adjusting to help avoiding the heat spreading. For just trigger guard... I always recommend a hairdryer because you are just softening, not remolding... and be patient. I have had a few holsters come back to me where people have...
