Nice write-up. I'll stay with my 9 though. I own a 40 (not an M&P) and it is fun to shoot, but it's substantially more to feed, and only carries 13rds. When/If i have to go to my weapon, i feel more rounds will make the difference vs a slightly harder hitting/heavier, louder, bigger, etc...

Cracker, that is why i chose the new spring. I almost skipped it but I didn't wanna tempt fate. I carry my FS9 everyday, so i put in the package. :( I would like to feel how it feels with the stock spring though.

I do not have a shield, but i've seen numerous posts on this forum with Sheilds wearing FS sights.

Do standard sights work on the 22? They look the same, but i'd like to know so i can order some so they match my 9. Also, best place for more mags?

I've had my FS9 look red on the nose after a long day shooting. I ran thru about 500 reloads. It was the powder burn. WIped right off. Never thought a thing about it. You mean yours looked like this? and this: Completely normal. wipe down, sleep with, repeat.

I feel it's our responsibility as CCW holders to practice. alot. I shoot once a week and wish i shot more. You will never rise to the occasion, only fall to your training.

I'm rubbing the melonite (sp) off the left front of my slide on my FS9 due to rubbing on the leather, but it's in my iwb all day every day (yup, including mowing my property), so the rust can never grow. ( mow my property because the wild cats like to prowl pretty often up in the foot hills...

I use my uplula for all my mags. highly recommend one. I have the other one too. It lives in the cabinet

I carry 147HST rounds in my FS9. I run 75-100 thru the weapon a month. I buy they mailorder as i haven't seen them in Sac. They still come in 50rd boxes, and run about 25$/box. They do neat stuff to watermelons with about any jacket i can put on it. :)
