Hello gents, the local farm supply store haves RIA mil spec 1911 for $399.00.
I have for a while considered buying two of these from an online source with no shipping, but I would have my transfer fees. My intention is to gift one to my son and one to my son in law to help them get started.
I...
I am looking for an extractor rod for my K-22, I did a search of this forum and found a good lead. I contacted Dave from oldwest gunsmith but he no longer has any.
So if anyone has any more places to check I would very much appreciate the info. Thanks, Dave
As of right now, Natchez has Tula small pistol primers in stock for $18.99 per 1000. I know some parts of the country these are scarce.
Fortunately I can get reloading components around here, but no such thing as factory .223 ammo.
I acquired a model 39 with the wraparound rubber grips, the grips looked very bad. I have wood grips coming for it. I sprayed the pachmayer grips with mcquires tire foam and it improved them greatly.
Sorry if this is an old trick, I was really pleasantly suprised at how well it worked.
I am 52 yrs old and I have never owned a 9mm pistol.
Tommorrow I am picking up my new to me 39-2. I will plinking at steel targets mostly, should I be looking at 115 gr. 124, etc. This cartridge is new to me.
I will probably buy 500 rds. and save the brass and roll my own from then on, any...
My search skills on the forum are lacking, I must not know how to use the proper key words.
I am sure this has been covered but I can't find it.
I recently purchased new Starline brass in 45 AR and 357 mag. and don't know if I should size it or not before priming it.
I primed about 250 of...
Hello, I know this subject has been covered many times, but I hope to get some thoughts from fellow members.
I took .452 cast lswc and found six that measured the same at .452 and dropped them into the cylinder holes.
None of the bullets fell right thru, however four of them pushed thru...
Hello fellow forum members. With your help I have been reloading for a couple years now. I have been using the Lee auto prime hand held priming tool.
I like the price and preformance of the wolf primers but they are a pain to fully seat with this tool not to mention my hands get fatigue when...
I have zero experience with this rifle but have had one in my possesion for a few months now. I did some research on it and it is a Saginaw S.G. and went to a website that put the serial number in the 1943 manufacture.
I went to a gun show today and picked up some .30 carbine, and took it...
I have reloaded cast and plated bullets for the last year.
Yesterday I picked up 38 & 45 cal. Hornady HP/XTP in 158 gr.
My Lee manual has specific XTP load data, however not many powders listed. Can I use 158 gr. Jacketed load data for these bullets. Thanks in advance for your help.
I'm still a greenhorn to reloading and have been moving along with great caution for the last year.
It seems to me that all my 357 mag loads have primers that appear to be flat. I have never seen flattened primers personally so I don't really know what i'm looking at.
I apologize for the...
I started reloading about a year ago, and I am just now starting on magnum loads. I purchased a can of 2400.
I now noticed my manual shows the load I was wanting to start with as herc 2400. Is herc 2400 and alliant 2400 the same powder?
Thanks in advance for any help.
