    Sport II Porn from Serbia

Not in English, but he seems to really like the rifle. There's even decent bench shooting with the Magpul backup sight! https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=svv039ZUxfc

    VIDEO: M&P15 Production

What's notable to me is that bolts and carriers are machined in-house, and that they are proof-tested as well as magnetic particle inspected. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8mmEtk8-5nc The tragic part is that the workers cannot own one of the rifles they build. :(

Nitride vs Chrome: Mr Gunsngear Compares

Since S&W nitrides their AR barrels and this is an ongoing debate, this series (which will include full-auto endurance testing) should be entertaining and informative. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5TJdGTkivHk

Article on The Firearm Blog about Victory M&Ps

Smith and Wesson?s ?Victory? revolver - The Firearm Blog While short, it gives some background on the origin of these revolvers. It's the first I've read about S&W trying to design a carbine for the Brits!

    Whatever Happened to PPC?

Police Pistol Combat (PPC) was very common into the '90s, and customizing revolvers (especially Model 10s)--some very heavily--was a cottage industry. With the near total acceptance of autos for police work, the classic PPC competition seems to have fallen by the wayside. Is it still...

    Who Sez J-Snubs Aren't Accurate?

As average a shot as I am, I was able to dust and even hit a steel plate at 100yd with my M49. Several shots did go wide, but that was ME, not the gun! This is the plate from the firing line. The size can be estimated from the paper targets just above it. Oh, the clink of hits sounded sweet! :D

FBI/Air Force DA Revolver Training Film

Shamelessly lifted from another site (Terry, thanx): It looks like an early '50s production; consider how the shooting art has evolved:

    Cylinder hangs in 1917 H.E.

When I try to swing out the cylinder of my revolver, it is hard to open. The cylinder latch feels smooth and goes all the way forward. I can't feel any burrs or roughness on the round part in the extractor that locks into the frame. Any ideas, or do I need to take it to a gunsmith...

    S&W Compared to Colt

In looking at a photo of the "Schofield" revolvers compared to SAAs, I noticed that the S&W seems to sit much lower in the hand than the Colts. Does this affect the "shootability", particularly muzzle flip? At some point I want a "Western" revolver, and the Smith is attractive, not only...
