    I’m looking for a midrange load for a 400 gn cast GC using 2400. Can’t find anything on this, I’m thinking of trying 30 or 31 grns to start out with. Any help is appreciated. This will be shot out of a 6 1/2” Smith.

    Smolt conversion

    I’m thinking about putting a python Bbl on a 686. I assume it would be necessary to put a ball detention in the crane since your losing the front locking lug. Who would be a good gunsmith to do the Bbl swap and the ball detent.

    I just got some 500 special brass for my 500 magnum. Cant find reloading online anywhere I currently have Hornady 350 XTP's and powder I have H110, 2400 and Universal Clays any help would be appreciated . Thanx in adavce.

    400 gn Cast GC

    I got some 400 gn cast GC for my 454 and 460. Im having a difficult time finding loading data for this bullet weight. I have H110, 2400 and some Universal Clays. Id like to get around 1200fps out of the 6 1/2" 454. Any help would ba appreciated. thanx Steve

    44 mag in a 444

    A guy told me you could shoot a 44 mag round in a 444 single shot (H&R) in a pinch. Ive never thought of doing this but does anybody know if this is safe or not. I know the 444 is just a lengthened version of the 44 mag but seems there is a lot head space there.

    I have a 4506 in about 90% shape a friend of mine has a m-58 in about the same condition and he wants to trade me even up for my 4506. This seems to be a no brainer to me unless I'm missing something. What your opinion?
