I have a Smith & Wesson Top-break double action 3rd Model . Built 1882-1883. 5 Shot 32 short. I am basing the info on the Standard Catalog by Supica 3rd edition.
Curious as to the value as I intend to sell it. If functions fine. I have shot it.
My son has a Model 19-5 in nickle with the 2 3/4 inch barrel. He wants to sell it.
I originally had it and sold it to him for $400 a few years ago.
I see the value of these has gone up. This is without the box and is basically a shooter and not a safe queen. What would be an approximate value...
**Reduced**
This is a rare original circa 1935 Smith & Wesson print titled "Hostiles". This is the rare Portuguese issue. This originally was owned by a Smith & Wesson employee according to the person I purchased it from.
It is in pristine excellent condition. The way to tell this is...
I picked up a Smith & Wesson poster today at a yard sale. It is the one of the cowboy on his horse shooting in back of him. Titled: Smith & Wesson on top and on the bottom: Revolvers.
I have seen some for sale online. The owner said he did not know if it was original from the 1930s or a...
My 19-5 2.5 inch in nickle has a serial number of 195**
The only letters are above it on the yoke and they are A15.
I thought there was supposed to be a K prefix on these.
Can anyone tell me the year of manufacture and approximate value in shooters not collectors condition. Couple of scratches...
I recently acquired this older Hand Ejector in .32 Long. From the picture does this look like these grips are real Pearl?
Also can anyone tell me the year of manufacture? Serial number 79**
The last date on the barrel is Sept 14,09
Thank You.
I picked up this at a gun show today. It appears to be an I frame about 3 inch barrel. Serial number 222*** which is on the cylinder and the butt.
In the S&W book it says some of these have the 32 L ctg marking on the right but this one is on the left. There are 4 screws.
The S&W logo is on...
I just picked up a 3913.
It has the saftey on the left side. It does not say LadySmith. It has the S&W logo on the right side.
It has the light grey color grips.
Is this a later model or an earlier model?
SN is TJC5***
Thanks
I just bought a model 19-5
It is a Nickel finish 4 inch round butt. Problem is acc to the Standard Catalog they didn't make a round butt in a 4 inch barrel. Unless it is the State Dept 1988 19-5. But the product code does not match that.
It has Hogue mono grips on it.
The product code is...
I came upon a Model 19-3 nickel finish, round butt in around 95% or better condition.
4 inch barrel. Non-original grips.
What would would be the approx value of this?
Thanks.
There is a 681 no dash near me for sale.
The owner says there is no M in the serial number just ADB.
Does this need to be sent back to S&W as I understand there was a recall and the M meant it was modified at the factory.
Thanks
I have a chance to trade my 649 no dash with original box for a 6906 in good condition with 2 12 round mags.
Would that be a fair trade value wise and is the 6906 concealable?
Thanks

Smith & Wessson model 66-2. Stainless .357 magnum. 4 inch barrel. Red ramp front sight. Adjustable rear sight. Hogue grips round butt. Smooth as silk action and it is very accurate. NO LOCK.
I rate it 98%. Has been out of my safe maybe 2 or 3 times in the last few years. No box or papers but I...
***SPF**** Model 63 J frame .22 LR stainless.
There are some minor scratches on the right side which can be seen in the pics.
No box or papers.
I tried to upload the pics but it failed so e-mail me for pics if you are serious.
I checked all the 63s on Gunbroker and Auction Arms and the...
I never say "S and W"
I say "Smith and Wesson"
Therefore I will refer to one as "a" Smith and Wesson not "an" S&W even if I spell it S&W.
I think my way is the proper and most respected way.
I have a recently acquired 649 no dash.
Is it ok to use .38+P in it?
My research says no but I have seen lots of folks who say they do with no problems.
