I am looking for a powder for 38 special that is not as position sensitive as W231. I get about 70 fps difference in velocity with muzzle up/down changes. Is power pistol any good. I noticed it has a higher charge weight so maybe less air space in the case.

I have a 3" model 65 that shoots 2-3 inches low at 25 yards. Even with 158 grain bullets it shoots on the low side. I am just wondering if this is common with the 3" or is it just my gun? I figure maybe the front sight height was intended for the 4" barrel.

I mostly shoot rainier 140gr bullets out of my 4" model 15. I loaded up a few 125gr hornady xtp just to see how they shot and they seemed to shoot quite nicely. Do you think these bullets will expand at 38 spl velocities? (I am getting 914 fps on the chrony) I think the 135 speer would be a...
