    Posting data with photos

I have an 11-page item (Word file) with photos. When I copy and paste to this forum, the text transfers but not the accompanying photos. Since it is saved to my documents, I'd really hate to try and rebuild it here. Any help is appreciated... use small words please as I'm not a computer nerd.

    Model 1, 1st Issue, 1st Type. SN 162

I have been requested to post a few photos of my plated Model 1. The letter says that this revolver was part of a 20-unit shipment to JW Storrs Co., New York City, New York on April 17, 1858. The letter goes on to say that the finish on guns in this shipment is not listed and that generally...

Expired/Withdrawn WANTED Baby Russian Extractor Parts

I'm looking for ejector parts for the Baby Russian. Specifically for any parts from the extractor gear to the extractor. This includes anything from the geared extractor post to the spring or the rod to the extractor. I'm tired of cruseing the online parts people. These parts will keep another...

    Hinged box end label over-stamp?

Some Double Action and Safety Hammerless box labels are over-stamped in ink with various codes. Two such stampings are: 9332 and 99231 2W. Does anyone recognize the meaning of these markings? At first, I thought of Telegraphic Codes, but those codes are names, not numbers. Anyone? Thanks.

    Stage One Shooter Lube?

Has anyone used this product? This is sold online by ShooterLube.com, is made in the U.S.A. and is advertised as a "Weapons Cleaning Solvent, Military Grade". The hype says "Odorless-No Water-Fully Evaporates-Leaves No Residue-No Hazardous Ingredients per EPA-High Flashpoint-Non-Corrosive-Does...

    SCAMMER

I just got a message from 'Great Bobby' in Australia about the 6, 8 or 10" .32 SA that I'm looking to add to my collection. Typically, it said to call/text another person that had what I wanted. This went straight into the "dustbin", so the scammer understands my Australian non-queens English.

WTB, Antique .32 Single Action Parts or Gun

Early production revolvers had an internal, eccentric mainspring strain screw. I need parts to resurrect this nickel revolver. I need a hammer, hand, trigger, side plate and stocks. Unfortunately, a PO cannibalized this somewhat scarce piece of S&W history. The parts need only be shooter...

    .32 DA 3rd, trigger spring?

Would anyone have a functioning spring? Mine has a broken end and will not return the trigger so that I must push it forward to cock the revolver. Sold my good one to help a fellow collector as I knew I'd never need it. TIA.

Model 1, 2nd Issue Engraving Question

Any idea who might have engraved this revolver? The engraving is crisp but there is no indication that it was done recently. The breach end of the barrel and the face of the cylinder are pristine as if it was never fired. The assembly numbers are sharp and original, so I've ruled out the...

    .38 DA Top-Break

OK, it seems that I killed Webb's .38, DA thread so I'll lead off with an example of a Tiffany, acid etched revolver.

    New Mpdel #3 Reserection

I thought I'd post this 1896, Takata, Japan shipped NM#3 that was bought thinking it would be salvaged for parts. The price was right, and it was advertised as needing a hand. But it was too nice to part out when it arrived, so I went about 'fixing' it. As it turned out, it needed everything...

    .44 Russian load

I have an antique, S&W, NM#3, top break, in .44 Russian that I'd like to shoot a mild load in using a 200gn lead bullet swaged to .429, using W 231. I don't want anything remotely hot. Does anyone have a pet load? I have the Lyman 49th and can load to their minimum but I hope there might be...

    .44 S&W Russian Brass

Would anyone have 50 or 100 pieces for sale? I know that Starline has this, but I really do not wish to purchase 500 pieces. As it is, I doubt that I would ever load more than 50. Send me a PM. Thanks. Mike

    Gunsmith w/hammer sear experience?

I have a NM #3 hammer with buggered sears. The last reweld and sear cut I had done was performed by David Chicoine. Is there another person capable of doing this?

    Model number

It is a .38 S&W Double Action and possibly the 4th Issue or model. The serial number from the butt would narrow it down. Mods, Ok, this is interesting. This was a response to outdoormike (clicked the Reply button) with which it became a New Thread. I have tried to delete this New Thread...
