    K-22 holster find

I have been wanting a nice floral carved holster for my '48 K-22 and this weekend I came across this one at a small gun show. Stamped on back "Warshals Sporting Goods Co., Seattle, Wash. 96F K-22 6". Any idea on who actually made it? It cost me $20.

    K-22 OD letter

On 9-27 I requested a letter on this K-22 and received it today. This gun came with a special order Call gold bead front sight. My previous question of how a later serial # could have had the gold bead sight is answered in the letter - by special order.

    US Navy Victory

This is a US Navy Victory I've had for a couple of years. Condition-wise it is very nice. As I recall, I believe 1943 vintage. Shown here with shoulder and flap holsters and canvas cartridge pouch. V-251314

    K-22 Outdoorsman

A recent hospital stay delayed posting this Outdoorsman I picked up a couple of weeks ago. It is about 99% condition. My pictures don't do the gun justice. This is my third and I find myself wanting a early gold bead sight like DC Wilson posted. My wife thinks I already have enough of these.

    An "Indoor" Outdoorsman?

When one thinks of an "outdoorsman", we think of someone who spends a lot of time outdoors. This K-22 Oudoorsman, spent most of its time "indoors", I think. It dates from 1935-36 #6565XX, and is in about 98%+ condition. I'd like to get another. Any idea on what the prices of 98-99% guns with...

    K-22 box literature

Other than the "helpful hints" leaflet in the pre-war Outdoorsman boxes, was there any other paperwork included? Any pics would be appreciated. I'm trying to complete the contents of my red box. Are these papers ever available? Thanks in advance.

    Memorial Day M & P

This 38 Special, isn't that special, they made thousands of them, yet the original owner would qualify as "special". His name was Don Frazier. In 1916, he went to work for the Forest Service as a forest guard at the Bull Run Oregon National Forest. In 1917, he entered military service, aviation...

    Another Outdoorsman

First post for me, thanks to all of you for the great information on this site. I picked up this K-22 about a month ago at a local gun shop. This one is a shooter-grade gun, probably from around 1935. I've looked everywhere I can think of for a correct set of stocks for it and have yet to find...
