    Home defense question

    I own a pistol for home defense/hunting. The gun and permit is in my name. If someone were to break in when I'm not home and my wife uses the pistol to stop the threat, would there be any recourse against her since she isn't a licensed pistol holder? (I'm in NY State)

    Buffalo Bore in .38

    I was thinking of picking up some new SD ammo for my M10 (4" Heavy Barrel). I have heard of lot of good things about BB but they have two offerings in .38. One being the LSWCHP 158gr and the Gold Dots in 125gr. Which one would work better in a SD situation and why? Thanks.

    Considering how old this cartridge is, it seems still to be very popular with gun owners. Seeing how many more powerful rounds that are out there why hasn't the .38spl have not been phased out yet? (.38spl owner)
