My 681's just returned from the Performance Center. For legality reasons, my attorney advised me to have the safety locks installed. At his request, I started with just these two. I must confess, the lock is starting to grow on me! I think that I'm going to send the rest of my collection to...
I couldn't find a nice set of grips for my classic series 657 that didn't cover up the laser etching. Then, I stumbled onto these.
They're Eagle classic magna's in ebony w/ medallions. Their quality has come a LONG way since the 90's.

Aussie, There were two variations made of the 629 UDR's. One was cut for moon clips and the other was not.
Here is a pic of both of them:
Also, Here's # 151 of the 2 1/2" barreled 629's:

These grips came on the 3" PC 66 Super "K". They are made of plastic, not imitation ivory.
Any idea which company made these for Smith?
Thanks in advance,
Todd

I was offered a pair of 4" Class "A" Engraved Model 57's both NIPC, one nickel, and the other blued.
Any idea what the value of the pair might be?
He is asking $ 3,000.00 for the pair.
Thanks,
Todd
A good friend of mine gave this gun to me to help him find out what model it is and the date of manufacture. I know that it is a model 27 (5 screw), but it doesn't say "27" on it anywhere. The serial number on the bottom of the grip frame is S 140469. The cylinder is stamped 140469 with an S...
I just picked up this Pre-lock 586-7 L-Comp with a 4" barrel. I can't find any info in the Standard Catalog about it. Does anyone know how many of these were made? It's not the French GIGN variation. The Performance Center gave me the manufacture date (2002) and called it a "transition" gun...
