I've never been able to find n-frame grips that fit my slightly smaller than average hand well. I discovered VZ grips watching a youtube video & decided to give them a a try. Couldn't be more pleased & already planning to order 2 more pair for my other n-frames.

I've only seen pictures of them and they really look nice, but I don't understand why they are so much more expensive than the other models. I have always assumed that they must be hand fitted target pistols but I'm guessing.

I've spotted a 629-1, 3 inch barrel I'm kind of fond of. It has a fluted cylinder and wood finger groove grips. It is not ported nor does it have a full length ejector shroud. Is this going to be a Backpacker?
