2. Flat latch model 36, 90% condition.
Can anyone give me info on possible value?
Next month I will be receiving the 2nd half of my enlistment bonus so I plan on treating myself to something worthwhile. I want to spend between $1500 and $2000.
So far I have narrowed it down to a few choices including a S&W of some type.
Any suggestions, and or pics of a Smith in that range...
Is there a long lost Model 19 Picture thread somewhere? I searched and couldn't find one...can't believe it. If there is not, can we start one? I'm considering making this the model I focus on collecting.
I'll start with one I wish I still had. A 19-4 Nickel.
I know someone will post that MIM parts are just as sturdy...etc....ok, that's fine. But the milled case hardened parts are pretty
Does anyone know if S&W will replace the hammer and trigger on my 686 with case hardened milled parts if I send it back to them?
Hi, can someone tell me the born on date for a 586-3, ser# BBH936x
The grips are stamped Jul 1988 and there is still inspector "stickers" on the frame, so I'm guessing it's probably a 1988?
I have a model 19-4 with some markings I'm trying to make sense of. Have you seen this kind of thing before? There are markings under the grip panels, but also....and the pic doesn't show it very well if at all, but on the left side under the cylinder release is what appears to be a stain in...
What do you call those little add on grip extension things that go on the front of the grip and are metal? Basically making the grip part of the frame wider.....and where could I get one for a round butt k frame model 19?
Thanks!
