So back in the 1950's Hubley, who was a major cap gun manufacture, partnered with Colt and produced this cool little piece.
It's a Detective Special(See Barrel Stamping) single shot where the cap is placed between the frame and hammer. The box is an old micrometer box that I cleaned up a...
I recently picked up a nice example Model 27-2 with a Patridge Front Sight. It's a 6" P and R ca 1978-79.
Added Pics with Targets that came with the gun, would these be the correct type and vintage?

I had a WTB add for a Model 27 box and he provided a very nice example plus brochures, parts list and tools!
He responded to all inquiries and shipped the box out right away.
It was a pleasure doing business with him.

Picked up a hand sized vintage Belgium Pocket Revolver 6 shot .32 Short Colt, the grips are a very dark wood and not plastic.
The manufacture is Auguste Francotte of Leige
It's out of timing and probably not proofed for smokeless powder but either way It will become a wall hanger.

Anybody else collect them?

On Saturday I went to the Oaks, PA gun show and found this nice example of a Model 29-2 4" c.a. 1975.
There were only two other p-n-r 29's at the show and both were nickel guns.
Anyway I've been on the hunt and found it at my goto dealer Highland Arms Co.
I hope you enjoy

I picked it up a few months ago and finally took it out to the range.
I was very impressed with the double action trigger pull. It is the best trigger I've ever felt. Single action was well, how do I put this LIGHT!
I have the original box, papers and...
A few weeks ago I installed Colt medallions on a nice set of wood grips I picked up for my Colt Government .380
(This is compact not a full-size gun ca. 1980)
The original grips are plastic and I think these are a step up.
Thought I'd share..
