    Unmarked CS-1 / Product Code 104228

Hello all, I have a unmarked, 3" product code 104228, serial prefix AZB that lacks the CS-1 marking. Everything on the gun follows suit with the exception of the white outline rear sight. I assume any non-Customs Service sales would lack the CS-1 markings, correct? Without the CS-1 marking...

RB combat grip k-frame - proper frame fit?

Hi all , Just purchased an unfired 66-3 2.5" from the local gander Mtn, and have a question about the proper fit of combat grips from the factory. The ones installed on this piece have a certifiably lousy fit at the top rear, sitting approx 1/8" proud of the frame. I can only imagine how it...

    Shield takedown retaining wire question

During my usual new gun takedown and cleaning, I noticed the end of the takedown lever retaining wire on my shield 9mm was buggered and sticking out a mm or so from the frame, enough that the slide rubbed it bright. Reason I ask is that I have a 3" frosted 686-1 on layaway with all the usual cs-1 indicators, minus the "cs-1"...

    3" bead-blasted 686-1 -- CS-1?

Been looking at a used 686-1 M with all the usual cs-1 giveaways--bead blasted, 3", thin black front sight, Pachymar compacs w/ serial number window...but no CS-1 marking. I have not been able to find any info on the "cs-1 over-runs" and whether they were marked cs-1 or not. Shows holster wear...

    1917--keep or return--pics

Hi all, Looking for opinions. I currently have a 1917 on a three day inspection. Paid $795 for it and I'd like to get an idea if this is reasonable. The biggest detractors are the chipped left grip and the bore condition. Looks like someone ran a cylinder of corrosive ammo through it and...
