Hey everyone, I've shot a variety of assault rifles, and none make that distinctive sound of an M16. I'm talking about that spring sort of sound when firing, no other rifle makes this sound. What causes this? Thanks!

Anybody here have much experience with turbocharged engines? All the new cars with turbos have a warning that only 93 octane is safe to use in the engine, anything less can cause damage. Is this true? I don't see how using regular gas will damage an engine.

454 Casull/45 LC/.410 Gauge "Raging Judge"

I figured there are a lot of experts on cars out of the 50s and 60s on this forum. Here's my question, the old automatic transmissions out of the 50s and 60s like the PowerGlide were considered 2 speed. Is this like 2nd gear on modern transmissions? If so, how were these cars drivable?
