Looking for a model 17-6 barrel, with the full lug ......... Can be 4" or 6", would prefer the 6", but either would do. Been looking for some time now, anyone out with one, or knows where I can get one, please let me know ! Thanks in advance ..... Here's why I need that barrel ..........

Anyone ever see a setup like this before ? I have K frame sights mounted all the way to the rear of the slide on my 39-2(actually Millett sights), and like it better than the original sights. Never seen it done on a 1911, though ........

Picked up these grips (they were advertised as K frame), but they don't fit my RB K frame. I have some early Hogue two piece notched grips that do fit, but not these. But still, nice grips, even with the wear on the checkering. Any thoughts as to who might have made them ?

Picked these up on Ebay for a song, and was pleasantly surprised when they arrived - the wood is beautiful, and in excellent condition. Any ID possible on these grips ? The only marking on the inside is "N". Too nice not to use - all I have to do now is notch the frame ...........

Are the barrel bore diameters different for the 22 WMR and the 22 LR ? I know the case length is longer, and the case diameter is slightly larger ..... 22LR is .223" vs .224" for the 22WMR - still trying to find the actual barrel bore measurements. I sure someone out there knows ? Thanks for...

I converted my 4" Model 19 SB to a RB over 25 years ago - has anyone else out there done the same ? I did it to be able to fit a more comfortable - and concealable grip. Looking to do the same on a 586, only this time I'll have the advantage of being able to use a die grinder to remove metal...
