I bought a new MP15 Sport yesterday. I ran 60 RD. through it, just to check function. I started looking it over and noticed a fine powder, like finely ground steel around the front sight, where it attaches to the barrel. Near as I can tell, the sight is not loose. Any ideas...

Just bought a new MP15 Viking Tactical. I'm stoked! Can't wait to fire it. Been looking for a few weeks, and my local GS finally put them on sale. Now, I need BUIS, and a red dot. Everything else has been done at the factory.

Just did the 15 minute Trigger job. Haven't shot my MP15-22 yet, will report tomorrow. The trigger pull feels somewhat lighter; very definite improvement in trigger creep and travel. I am very anxious to try her out!

should I shoot the 15-22, or the SIG 522 ?????? I favor the SW 15-22, because of the lightness, and compactness. The 522 IS a fun gun, just the same. A rock steady tack driver. It is not picky about ammo, either. Life is hard; with decisions like this...............HA!
