    Mystery Magazine

This magazine was in with some of my late Father-in-laws shooting gear. Wondering what gun this belongs with...looks like a single stack 9mm perhaps. I never knew him to have one of those, although he did own a nice nickeled Model 59. He was an awesome man and we sure have missed him these...

    Let's see those Fox doubles

Anyone else a fan? I picked up an old finish worn A Grade straight grip gun recently. Still locks up tight with great barrels and bores. Fox is definitely my favorite American double.

Model 48 back in the stable

I sold my 6" model 48 several years ago. Finally found one to replace it. Just little more wear. Shoots very very accurately. Pictured with USAF model 46. Also a fine shooter

Oh The Stupid Is Real (Part 2....Fixed!)

Finally had occasion to re-attach the front sight on my Cimarron .45 ACP Colt SAA clone. The second try was successful with the Brownell's Ribbon solder and flux. Not a perfect job; some heat discoloration of the blue, and the cold blue on the shortened front blade Doesnt match so well. The...

    Oooh the Stupid is Real!

Purchased a very nice Cimarron Model P in .45 Colt/45 acp. Beautifully put together and very accurate with 230 grain hardball acp. Just shot a few inches to the left and a little low. No problem, i'll just tweak the front blade over to the left a little. On the third whack...after test...

    Anyone own a Browning BLR?

I owned a steel framed BLR 81 made in Japan in .358 caliber years ago. I liked it but factory ammo was scarce even then. I recently purchased another in .308 caliber and i'm looking forward to using it. Any other BLR fans?

    Merry Christmas to Me!

Well i've had a pretty good year if i do say so myself, so i felt a reward of some type was necessary to incentivize me to be just as awesome next year. Behold, the Cimarron Model P 1873 in .45 Colt with .45 ACP extra cylinder! Bought it expressly for sending .45 acp hardball downrange.

    CMP Field Grade 1911a1

Received my 1911a1 last week after sending in my packet for the 2nd round Jan. 4th. Recieved a nice Remington Rand frame with G.I. replacement "hard slide" and a neat chrome lined israeli contract barrel. Pistol has Springfield Armory and Anniston Armory rebuild marks. Took it out and shot...

    Hot Dam!

Finally had time to explore the lack of single action Function on my 1916 Triple Lock .44. A happy hour spent stoning and replacing/testing the single action engagement has rectified the cocking issue. On my way out back to test fire shortly. Thrilled to have a safe single action function on...

    Help with Triple Lock action

My 1916 .44 wont stay cocked in single action. Double action works perfectly. As you can see from the photo, the nose of the trigger wont engage the single action notch in the hammer when the hammer is pulled fully rearward. It seems to lack just a smidge; like it would work if the hammer...

    Value of Model 29-3

Ive been offered a very nice 8 and 3/8ths inch barreled nickel plated Model 29-3. Ive seen some gunbroker auctions in the 1200.00 range, but not with the nickel or long barrel.

    Finally, another Victory Model

The first one i ever had, a nice DSC gun, i sold to my brother. I must have had a moment of pity for the poor guy and wanted to cheer him up or something. Well, MANY TIMES, have i wished to have it back, but no amount of hinting or crying or whining or tantruming would induce him to sell it...

    Good Karma M65?

I bid on this Model 65 as a gun without grips or sideplate. Imagine my surprise when my lgs presented me my "gun in a bag" and the sideplate and grips were included, just not installed. Made a tough day at work end as a great day! Revolver was dirty but cleaned up very well. BBT serial prefix.
