Was thinking of selling my 1968 17-2. Bought a year ago from seller who IIRC, said cylinder was either 'timed' or replaced by S&W. I only shot 30-40 rounds thru it and shoots perfectly, but I am wondering if the cylinder should be marked or another area on the gun should be marked re: cylinder...

I am going to buy a Remora IWB for my 66-5. It is the one with the odd-ball 3 1/4" barrel and I am wondering if anyone has any experience re: that specific barrel length with the different Remora holsters specific to that model Smith. Perhaps someone has bought a Remora for the same model...

FWIW - I did a forum search just now and did not find this reported of late, but Midway has Starline 357 brass available. It did not show in their flyer that I received yesterday, but it showed on their site and I just ordered 500 early this AM. (I had been waiting to order from Starline...

Homemade Firearm Related Products Searched forum for this before posting but could not find it having been posted before. (Site contains making own sizing lube, etc as well.) Reminded me of making sizing lube years ago from anhydrous lanolin and STP :) Hopefully it is not totally redundant.

FWIW to Michiganders - Gander Mtn in Sterling Heights has a 3" Model 66 for $449 in their 'used' counter. Has the Hi-Viz green front sight. Looked very clean but I did not handle it. (It does have the IL.)
