    PRIMITIVE CAMPGROUND

I have spent the night in some pretty primitive Campgrounds, but this one is too primitive for me.

    LITTLE HISTORY, LITTLE HUMOR

In 1960 there was 26 separate municipalities within Dade County Fl. Each had their own Court House, Fire Dept. Police Dept. causing lots of duplication and inefficiency, yet all the little Mayors, etc did not want to relinquish their opportunity to be a big fish in a little pond, finally as my...

FREEDOM OF CHOICE HAS BECOME SERIOUSLY LIMITED

I have decided to protect myself with a .45 Single Action revolver, I have a Glock 19 with double action and two 15 round magazines in a shoulder holster plus a variety of other double action guns. Most would not consider anything shy of a double action and lots of available ammo, however, I am...

TO FEEL HAPPY WITHIN YOURSELF, TRY THIS

In this age of instant communication from long distance and the evolving of the Internet Forums I am often reminded of " How things used to be ". Following retirement the wife allowed our move to New Mexico so I could play cowboy for 12 years. When New Mexico enacted their first CCW licenses, the applicant had to qualify with each caliber to be carried and was restricted to one handgun only. I thought limiting to one gun was peculiar, as...

Many may say that my lack of confidence in semi-auto pistols is due to my being of the old school and probably some what goofy, both of those allegations might have value. However, with the myriad of problems that many semi-autos encounter regularly that causes immediate disablement, what...

I prefer gun handling of yesteryear

At this time I am 82 years old and can sincerely state I was much happier owning and using guns when I was on the Police Dept. in Miami, Fl during the 1960's and 70's. Carrying a rifle or shotgun in a rack next to the rear window in a pick up was common place. Drawing a handgun from your...

    Covert guns throughout my house

I rarely carry a gun around my house other then when arriving home with my EDC, however, I have a covert loaded gun stashed in nearly every room of the house. No kids, whenever grand kids visit from Out of state I gather up all the guns and secure them. Billy
