    .32 Long revolver

I picked up a 50s vintage .32 SW Long revolver in a trade recently. I was told by the previous owner that it had been used by a relative who drove a prisoner transfer bus for a county sheriff, thus it was carried and not shot. The grips are oversize (fortunately) and while not exactly numbered...

    Altamonts for N frames

I needed something more hand filling for my new production 27 and my round butt .44 special so I picked up a pair of Altamonts for the revolvers. I feel they turned out pretty well. Just something to break up the quarantine boredom!

    1006 Broken Extractor?

Anyone experience a broken extractor with a 1006? Mine is fine and the extractor appears stout but if they do break I will look to obtain a back up part.

    Two tone model 559?

I'm talking with a fellow about a 559 with a blue frame and nickle slide with blued sights. Is this a put together gun or an authorized variation? We're discussing trading my P6 with 4 magazines for his 559 with two magazines, box, grips. Any downside to the 559?

    M&P .38 gift

I was gifted a C series M&P .38 special this past weekend. 6" barrel, target hammer and grooved trigger. Bore and chambers are spotless and lock up is tight. Finish shows a lot of holster wear. No questions, just wanted to share my good fortune in having this land in my hands!

    25-5 box and contents

I found this box for a 25-5 that I traded off some time ago. I forgot to give the box with the revolver at the time. It has the instructions and other papers and the factory cleaning kit. Does it have any value?

    Somewhat abused .38 special Victory

I picked up this .38 special Victory model at a local auction a couple months ago. When I bid on it I knew that someone had gotten electro-pen happy on it but I had hoped it looked better in person than in the photos. the good news is that the bore is immaculate and the lock up is tight. The...

    Extractor for 1006

My 1006 has started to not extract a fired case. Happens 2 to 4 times out of 30 rounds and has happened now on the last two outings with it. The chamber is fine and there is no gunk under the extractor. I looked at Brownells for an extractor and spring but nothing listed for the 1006. GPC...

    Ancient History

I was going through old gun receipts the other day and came across one from April 1989. I bought a SW '1917' (as written on the invoice) in .44 special serial number 80334 for the princely sum of $275. As I remember the revolver was in extremely nice shape with what I remember as original...

    Austrian Police Victory model value?

I'm picking up a Victory model .38SW U.S. Property marked 5" barrel parkerized finish stamped Polezi and with a 5 digit rack number and Austrian police property mark on it. Are these collectable at all? I got it more because of the appeal of the revolver and not as an investment. I already...
