I have located one of these and wondering if the 8 3/8 inch barrel ads or detracts from the value of the gun. Is a 6" more desirable? The owner is asking $550 what do you think? Thanks! Barney

Bought a 19-3 from Cabela's yesterday. The model and S/N are stamped neatly on the crane. In addition, there is the number "46171" stamped on the yoke, with what appears to be a number "O16" or perhaps "D16" lightly stamped beneath it. Does anyone know what these numbers mean? Thanks! Barney

My M18-4 has a problem. The cylinder tends to hang slightly when I release it. It takes a little extra push and it opens fine. I've cleaned it well and that did not help. I suspect the problem is not serious but it just bugs me. The gun has less than 500 rounds through it but is out of warranty...

This is a Model 27-2 which I purchased in 1980. It has a 4" pinned barrel, blue finish. It has had fewer than 60 rounds through it. I would guess this is a 95-98% gun. The Varnish has been slightly worn on the bottom of the hand grip. No box. There are a few TINY (can't really see them) points...

How can I tell if my 1980 Model 27-2 has a pinned barrel? Also, what is the correct way to measure the barrel length? Mine measures approx 4 1/8 inches from the front of the cylinder to the tip of the barrel.
