    A Non Registered Magnum

Thought I would share this nice revolver with the forum. A gentleman brought this in to my shop to see if I could tell him anything about it. He had just purchased it. I was excited, to say the least. It's what Supica Calls a non-registered 357 Magnum in his book. I had John Treakle, a long time...

    S&W 1891 set

Looking through pictures on my computer to delete and came across this 1891 set. Sadly (to me) I sold it 7 years ago, but it's one I'll never see again. It will be my wallpaper for a while. Thought I'd share with you.

    S&W pre-29 nickle 8 3/8

Before I get a letter from Roy Jinks, I thought I'd try to get an guestimate as to ballpark value on a pre 29 I just got. I can find nothing regarding any pre 29 in this configuration. It is nickled with a 8 3/8" barrel. 4 screw of course. I do plan to get the Jinks letter regardless. It's sure...

    S&W 1902 revolver

This is the first 1902 that's come into my shop. It looks all correct and locks up tight with a very good bore. I think it's a first change with the square butt.

Hopkins and Allen Smith 1891 copy

I just came by a very cool little pistol, a H&A single shot 22 pistol. Unfortunately, the barrel was cut to 5" but it looks so much like the S&W 1891 I have to believe it's a close copy. I may even shoot it. I'll post pics later on. If anyone is familiar with these little guns and has some...

S&W Victory Australian issue new baby

I just acquired the nicest Victory I've seen. It is an Australian issue (lend lease?) revolver. Looks almost unused. The serial number is V470820. Any idea of DOM? Here's a couple photos. Enjoy and thanks if you can help with the date.

Pretty pretty pretty 1905 M&P new to me

Hi folks. I just wanted to share this pretty revolver I just acquired. Hard to say when it was made but before 1942. I sorta got sucked in by the nickle finish and stag grips. So here you all go. Enjoy.

Ron Powers Custom revolver for Christmas

I traded for this to shoot, but I don't have the time for the SASS and IPSC shooting I do now, so someone is getting a nice Christmas present. This is a truly amazing revolver. Ron Powers is considered the best revolver competition gunsmith around. He's now retired. It was a hard decision to...

    Ron Powers Model 10

A acquaintance brought a really nice gun to me wanting to sell but I can't find anything about it. It's a very customized revolver with the most amazing trigger I've ever seen. DA it feels like about 4#. I know Mr. Powers has a great reputation but I can't find a single example for sale. Anyone...

    Model 10 box anomaly-weirdness

A gentleman brought in a model 10 blue box he ahd told me about. I didn't really understand until I saw it. Everything about the box is normal until you look at the lettering on the end of the box. It says "W&S" in the gold lettering. Were these errors common? I've seen a ton of S&W boxes but...

    S&W Model 48 w/22wrf and 22LR cylinders

Hi Guys. I have a model 48, 8 3/8" that came with a 22LR cylinder as well. I find reference to these guns but have no idea of rarity, value, etc. Great gun (to me) so hope the Guru's here can shed some daylight on it. Thanks!!

Finally got the letter on the 1891 set

I got my letter on the set and I'm still excited although it seems there's no final resolution. Did it go back to get made up? Made by a dealer? Here is a copy of the letter. Here is the 'set' as shown before. Thanks for everyone's input. :D

Old Lemon Squeezer 32 w/2" barrel for fun

Howdy, I have a number of old lemon squeezers for use in cowboy action shooting. Several times a year we have a 'pocket pistol' match and we all bring our top breaks and have a fun side match shooting a target across a table against the timer. The thread about the Banker pistol reminded me of...

    Howdy from WA state

Hi Folks, I'm from Port Angeles, WA and a gun dealer specializing in Cowboy Action Guns. I do collect pocket pistols and especially S&W lemon squeezers. Love them, just don't know all I'd like to know which is why I joined the forum. Half of being smart is knowing what you're dumb about and I'm...
