I came across this article in American Handgunner Annual, where they put 10000 rounds through a 1006 in 6 1/2 hours. The test can be found here: Smith & Wesson Is there any chance to get a better scan of this test, and especially a better picture of the 1006 on top of that pile of cartridges?

Hi, I just purchased a 1006. It came in the original box with all the paperwork, tools, spare magazine, wrapped in factory paper, seems like it never fired a shot so far in its life (which is also the condition how it was advertised). It's a damn lovely gun, I'm hooked. I paid 510 Euros for it...
