S&W is using a new main spring for the 8" pistols. I tried to buy one buy they are not selling them yet. Does anyone have both a rife and a pistol who could measure the length, diameter, wire diameter and coil count between the rifle and pistol? I'm hoping it's the same spring minus a few coils.
