Has anyone removed the Caution for the removed magazine on the slide without doing any harm to the finish?

Hello from the Valley of the Sun in Arizona. My wife and I just bought a M&P Shield so I thought I'd check in here. I have also just started loading/reloading and thought I'd look around here to see who might be doing that also. I like what I see. jack
