I picked up the new Shield Plus. The fit and finish is perfect. Function is another story. The only issue is the trigger. The trigger feels and sounds gritty, like sand paper rubbing together. Just need to figure out the parts that needs to be polished. So far, I like my Shield 2.0 trigger better.

I was looking for a 4" 357 to fill the gap between the 6" 686-4 Plus and the 2.75" 66-8. I was considering another 686 but I ended up getting a new 4.25" Colt Python. It's gorgeous. The only gig I would give it is the grips are a bit thin. Regardless, it's a great 357.

Got an APEX hammer on the way for the 66-8. Already installed an Wolff Spring kit that made it a lot easier to shoot. Are there and books on S&W's that you would recommend for tear down and reassembly?

Just got the new 66-8. If it shoots as good as it looks, it will be awesome. It seems mechanically ok. No binding, trigger pull is pretty stout in double action. Thanks for all your input
