Was at Walmart today looking for a cleaner, and found this grip. It's a "Mikes". I quickly took my SD9VE and my new 709 slim to the range. Feels great! Shot roughly 500 rounds. Anyways nothing more... Just wanted to show it off.

So I've been lusting after the shield for some time now. Last night 4 of us went up to the range, one friend had the 709 slim, another the shield. Suffice to say I fell in love with 709. And at a price point, currently, almost 275 dollars less, I couldn't help it!

Pretty slick! It's LED, has a great little quick connect system. Picked it up for $20 at a gun show today. I like that it has a soft switch within reach of my index(non trigger) finger. So you can slightly depress off and on with no noise, and it can be quickly shut off. Not bad!

When you carry, semi auto guys, do you keep it chambered? I have the SD9VE, which is advertised as being confidently abled to carry with one in the chamber(the trigger, design etc) I'm just nervous about it, but the more I think about carrying a gun for SD, seems worthless to not chamber one...
